Job Description

 

We currently have a position available in Centurion, for  Senior Test Analyst and Test Coordinator. The successful applicant will be responsible to:

·         Take responsibility for the specification and formulation of test packs, the execution and coordination of the execution of test packs and the automation of test packs for Risk Implementation.

·         Certification of specifications as testable

·         Creation and management of a sound testing methodology

·         Creation of usability test cases

·         Creation of functionality test cases

·         Creation of product values test scenarios and cross-reference sheets

·         Creation of integration test cases

·         Creation and automation of regression test cases

·         Defining test impact of a project

·         Defining test effort of a project

·         Defining test priorities

·         Co-ordination of user testing

·         Compiling of test data

·         Testing systems

·         Identifying and reporting system errors

·         Documenting test results

·         Sign off correct systems

·         Coordination of test team

 

Job Requirements

 

  • At least 3 years experience as a Test Analyst is IMPERATIVE

  • At least 2 years experience as a test coordinator

  • Relevant testing qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial sector (insurance and banking)

  • Experience in dealing with AS400 based technologies (including systems written in RPG) and Java based technologies

  • Computer literate (MS Word & Excel)

  • Knowledge of test techniques

  • Knowledge of test processes

  • Knowledge of test planning

  • Knowledge of test automation

  • Knowledge to create test documentation

  • Knowledge of system development

  • Business knowledge (life insurance ad banking)

  • Knowledge of use cases and UML
