Job Description

We currently have a position available at the Company Group's Head Office in Centurion, for a Process Business Analyst Team Leader in Retail Division. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work of the team of Process Business Analysts in the Existing Product Implementation department. The position will give the successful candidate an opportunity to apply his or her technical expertise within an area where he/she needs to create innovative solutions for existing business.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

·         Process Management:  Aligning team activities and contracted objectives with operational
requirements (jira’s), leading sustained performance and continuously focusing on  the reinforcing of high performance to ensure a workforce that can meet objectives.

·         People Management:  Selection and support of staff, performance management, staff development, recognition and ensure that staff are fully trained and skilled to perform allocated responsibilities and kept updated with all changes, new products/processes, etc.

·         Involved in Existing Product projects, processes and systems.

·         Involved in escalated inquiries/problems.

·         Manage inter-dependencies to achieve Existing Products objectives, responsible for business support as
a whole.

·         Overall responsible for deliveries of Existing Products Process BA team. 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

·         At least 2 years relevant industry related management experience

·         At least 4 years Business Analyst experience

·         Solid understanding of Business Processes

·         Good understanding of risk management principles

·         Relevant Investo and PDS product, process and system experience would be an advantage

·         Computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

·         Sound knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and business processes

·         Sound knowledge and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

·         Understanding of the Investment and Insurance Industry

·         Tertiary qualification

·         Training and Communication skills

·         Project management principles

·         Resolution of process and system inefficiencies

·         Interacting with client to understand business requirements.
