Job Description

 

We currently have a position available for a Process Business Analyst. The successful applicant will be responsible to:

 

·         Enable the enhancing and maintenance of the Myriad system by working with the Myriad system users, the BA team and development team.

·         Pro-actively manage system processes by gathering requirements, documenting system specifications

·         Ensure that the system changes are done correctly by planning the testing of and testing the programs

·         Relationship management

·         Self- development

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Relevant business analysis qualifications

  • Mathematical or actuarial qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in Business Analysis: gathering requirements, writing functional specifications

  • Experience in System Testing: test planning, setting up test

  • Matrices and testing system changes

  • Experience in Project Management will be an advantage

  • Experience working with the Myriad system will be an advantage

  • Knowledge of the financial industry and long term insurance

  • Knowledge and understanding of risk products

  • Understanding of business analysis methodologies and principles

  • Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle

  • Knowledge of UML will be an advantage

  • Knowledge of system testing techniques

  • Analytical skills
