Position Summary

We currently have a position available at Group's Head Office in Centurion, for a Qualified Actuary in Retail. The successful applicant will be responsible for: product development needed in respect of recurring investment solutions; product management of existing investment solutions as well as the Closed Book; and liaising closely with Corporate department in respect of various actuarial functions for example, profit measurement, utilization of capital, and valuations. The position will require the successful candidate to have:

·         An understanding of product design

·         An understanding of developing and pricing new insurance products

·         The ability to work across business units within the organization

Job Requirements

·          

Prophet programming knowledge would be an advantage, but is not essential

·          

Knowledge of older generation products would be an advantage

·          

5 years plus experience in the life environment would be an advantage

·
